Zach Bacskay

Meet Your Instructor

Zach is 25 years old and originally from Modesto California and moved to Arizona in 2012. He has always had a passion for helping others. He has been CPR certified since 2016  and has been working as an EMT for four years. His first two years were working with Arizona State University EMS, and most recently with Maricopa Ambulance. He has been working on an ambulance in multiple cities in the valley such as Glendale, Scottsdale, and most recently Chandler where he is paired up with members of the Chandler Fire Department. He has been training and certifying individuals in BLS, CPR AED, and first aid since 2019.

About HSI: 

Health and Saftey Institute's (formally ASHI, EMS Saftey, and Medic First Aid) emergency care training programs and brands are currently accepted, approved, or recognized as an industry credential meeting the requirements of thousands of US state regulatory agencies, occupational licensing boards, national associations, commissions, and councils in hundreds of occupations and professions.

HSI is a nationally accredited training organization. HSI’s emergency care training and professional continuing education programs are currently accepted, approved, or recognized as meeting the requirements of more than 7,000 state and federal regulatory agencies, occupational licensing boards, national associations, commissions, and councils in more than 550 occupations and professions.

Rates

Typically individual certifications range from $50-70 per person depending on the certification type and the method you choose to take the class. (Not including RSV)

Groups of over 5 people can inquire for a special group discount.

Class Length

A Traditional Classroom style training will last between 4 and 5 hours with blended and RSV shorting that down dependant on certification and class size.

Class Types

We offer many options to obtain your certification that can fit your needs.

  • Traditional Classroom (all training is done in person)

  • Blended (Online classes with the skills portion in person)

  • RSV (remote skills verification, Online classes with a zoom call to the instructor with a CPR manakin that was sent to your home/work. This does include an added cost.)
